Attendee Engagement: Session Q&A Power BI Report

Accessing Session Q&A Reports

To access Moderated Q&A Reports, access the Event Cloud site as an Admin. From the left navigation, select Reports.

List View

Select Attendee Engagement to expand the options and navigate to the Session Q&A section. Select the View Report button to access the report details.

Select the View Report button on Session Q&A tile to access report details.

Viewing Session Q&A Reports

Dashboard

 

 

The Session Q&A report dashboard displays all questions across all sessions in the event, with an at-a-glance view at the top showing total questions submitted, total questions answered, and number of unique users that have submitted questions.

Filtering

 

The report can be filtered by Session Type, Session Title, and Track, and the at-a-glance totals will update dynamically to the filtered view. From the upper right, click the More Options (3 dots) button to export the current filtered view at any time.

Users

 

 

 

All available user details are visible in the Session Q&A Report, regardless of privacy settings/Anonymous status within the Q&A interface.

 

Profile Privacy Settings

  • If a user elects to disable (uncheck) the "Show my profile in the community" setting on their personal profile, the Session Q&A Report will still display the users' details (name/email) associated with their profile. 

Community Settings

  • If the Community setting is disabled (unchecked) on the Event Cloud site, the Session Q&A Report will display the users' details (name/email) associated with their profile.

Session Q&A Report Columns

Session ID

A unique identifier for each Session, accessible on the Session Details tab for each Session.

Question number

(per session)

Displays the order questions were submitted (per session) by users in the Q&A panel. This number is also visible in the Q&A Moderation Mode for reference.

Created Date

Displays the date/time the question was submitted to the Q&A panel.

Question Text

The question/message submitted by a user to the Q&A panel.

Submitter First Name

Displays the first name of the user who submitted a question/message to the Q&A panel.

Submitter Last Name

Displays the last name of the user who submitted a question/message to the Q&A panel.

Submitter Email Address

Displays the email address of the user who submitted a question/message to the Q&A panel.

Status

Displays the question status in the Q&A panel. If a question is published and then unpublished, the report will update to reflect the most current status.

Published items display to all users in the Q&A panel. Unpublished items are not visible to end users in the Q&A panel. Unpublished items are visible to Speakers/Moderators when accessing Moderation Mode.  

Answer Text

The written response to a question/message submitted by a user to the Q&A panel. If no response was provided, this field will display NULL.

Answered By First Name

Displays the first name of the Speaker/Moderator who provided a written response to a question/message in the Q&A panel.

Answered By Last Name

Displays the last name of the Speaker/Moderator who provided a written response to a question/message in the Q&A panel.

Answer By Email Address

Displays the email address of the Speaker/Moderator who provided a written response to a question/message in the Q&A panel.

Answer Last Update

The last date a written response to a user was edited in the Q&A panel. If no response occurred, this field will display NULL.

Priority

Displays the priority assigned in Q&A Moderation Mode (High, Medium, Low).

Tag

Displays the tag assigned in Q&A Moderation Mode (Approved, Technical Support, Ignore).
