Below are the release notes for the 5.109 Event Cloud release on Monday, August 15, 2022.
New Features and Enhancements
Event Cloud Expand
Optimized for new Event Cloud users, an updated admin dashboard is the first page Expand Admin’s see upon logging in, with an event snapshot showing total users & sessions and quick links to key event setup areas.
Embedded Studio Sessions
Emoji reactions are available for additional audience engagement during live and simulive Embedded Studio sessions. When emojis are enabled, front end users can choose from a predefined list of options during the session; smile, laugh, heart, thumbs up, and clapping. These emojis cannot be edited or customized at this time. When an attendee sends an emoji reaction, it will be seen by others in real time as an overlay on top of the streaming media content.
In the Studio Presenter Console, presenters can monitor emoji activity during the live or simulive sessions. Within the media panel options, the emoji counter updates in real time throughout the session.
Moderated Q&A Reporting is available by navigating to Reports > Attendee Engagement > Session Q&A and selecting the View Report button.
By default, the Session Q&A report dashboard displays all questions across all sessions in the event, with an at-a-glance view at the top showing total questions submitted, total questions answered, and number of unique users that have submitted questions.
The report can be filtered by Session Title, Session Type, and Track, and the at-a-glance totals will update dynamically to represent the filtered view. All available user details are visible in this report, regardless of privacy settings and Anonymous status within the Q&A interface. Click the Download button to export the current filtered view at any time.
Within the dashboard view there is also a summary view available per question by mousing over the “Details” option after the last column:
