When creating a virtual event in your Event Cloud, you can use Slido to add a live poll or survey to your live sessions. Note that the Slido integration is only used for Event Cloud sessions where you have a live video presentation.

Getting Started with Slido
Event Cloud does not sell or offer Slido licenses, but we are more than happy to integrate with existing Slido accounts.
- Log into your Slido account.
- Then you can configure your branding and colors. For more information please visit: Configure Branding in Slido
- Configuring how attendees access your Slido polls within Event Cloud sessions.
Decide if you want all session attendees to immediately see your Slido polls, or if you want to require them to enter a name and/or email address before they can see the Slido polls.
This requires that you set your privacy options using the sliders to turn on or off requirements for name, passcode, and/or email address.
For more information, please visit this Slido Article: Slido Event Privacy Settings - Create rooms in Slido and give them meaningful names. These rooms in Slido map to the event sessions in Event Cloud. Here is an example:
For information on how to create multiple rooms please visit this Slido Article: Set Up Multiple Rooms - Create one or more polls. Note: each poll is actually a single question. For example, if you want to ask attendees two questions, you must create two polls.
See the Slido help article for a full walk-through of creating polls, quizzes, surveys, and more:
Create a poll, quiz, or survey in Slido - After you have your Slido settings complete, you are ready to bring them into Event Cloud!
Getting a Slido Poll or Room Embed Code
There are multiple ways to get your poll's or room's embed code:
- As a single Slido poll. This is best if you only have one poll in a session.
- As a Slido room containing multiple polls. This is best if you have more than one poll associated with a session.
- As an entire Slido event. This is not recommended, as it forces attendees to select a session before they can view polls.
This Slido article will cover these methods in detail: Embed Slido into your website or app
