Event Cloud is equipped with the tools you need to make your GDPR preparations easier.
This article will teach you how to add custom user profile fields related to GDPR to your Event Cloud site, so you can capture consent data from your users.
These instructions are intended for those who have an Admin role.
GDPR Custom Fields:
- Go to Users in the left-hand navigation.
- Click on Profile Fields tab in the left-hand navigation.
- Scroll to the Custom Fields area.
- Click on the Add new field button.
- Add a field to capture residency information:
- Click the Save button.
- Click on Add new field button again.
- Add a field to capture age data:
- Click the green Save button.
- Click on Add new field button again.
- Add a field to capture consent to share data:
- Click the green Save button.
- Verify these three custom fields exist:
