Sync Sessions with Swoogo

Swoogo is one of our Event Tech Tribe partners, a user-friendly event registration platform that lets you build fast, intuitive, and mobile-friendly public-facing sites. We work hand in hand with Swoogo (and other partners) to make sure your event needs are handled end-to-end.

This article will teach you how to configure your Event Cloud sessions so the data can flow into Swoogo seamlessly.

How to Configure Sessions to Sync with Swoogo

There are three settings on the Session object that need to be configured correctly for the Session data to cross over into Swoogo:

  • Session Status must be set to Accepted
  • Session must be Published (not in Draft status)
    • In the API, Published is referred to as Enabled
      • Enabled = True  -> Session is Published
      • Enabled = False  -> Session is Draft
  • Visible in Session Listing must also be enabled.

These settings can be set either on the individual session (one by one) or you can target several sessions by doing a bulk edit. Read on to learn more!

Configure a single session

  1. Navigate to the Session Details page for the session you are trying to sync to Swoogo.
  2. Scroll down to the Session Management section.
  3. Set Session Status to Accepted.mceclip0.png

  4. Set Status to Published.                                                                                                   mceclip3.png
  5. Once you set the Session to Published, more settings will appear.

  6. From those new settings, enable Visible in session list.mceclip4.png
