FEATURE ISSUE - ALL PRODUCTS - Bitrate/Framerate changes after editing Media File when Target Bitrate Blank - TFS #11711

Feature Issue
When creating a New Media Version after editing a previous version the new version defaults/changes to 360p 800 kbps when the Target Video Bitrate under Settings is Blank.  It doesn't matter what Frame size is chosen.

Steps to Recreate

  1. Verify setting for the event with the needed Media File edits in question.  Go to the Studio of the Event in question and verify what is showing under Setup>Settings.  Remove the Target Bitrate/make the box blank.  Frame size can be changed to whatever is desired for this test it is 720p.

  2. Find the desired Media file and make any edits via the Media Editor.  It doesn't matter the file resolution and bitrate although in my test it was 720p 1600 Kbps.
  3. Once the Media File has rendered and it is set to main media check the Settings under Setup>Settings and find that the file/settings have been changed to 360p Frame Size and Target Bitrate 800 in Studio.

Workaround

To allow the file to render with the correct Specs/Setting make sure that a value is entered for the bitrate in Studio (Not Blank).
