A: Using a remote desktop is not recommended. While the remote desktop is not interfering with Studio directly, it's interfering with the browser being able to get media from devices such as a webcam or a microphone.
What causes the issue is where the device seems to be available to the browser, so it communicates to Studio that it will send audio and video, but ends up not actually sending anything. Studio is then waiting for the audio to arrive and displays the speaker source as available.
