Q: Can a Staffer's User Bio Include Quotation Marks?
A: Double Quotation Marks are not allowed characters in a user's bio. However, Single Quotation Marks may be used.
Double Quotation Marks will not appear in the Bio field text box if typed from a keyboard. If copied and pasted from an external source, the following error will prompt:
As Best Practice, type into the text field instead of using copy + paste from an external source. Typing ensures extraneous special characters are not pasted into the field inadvertently. If copy + paste must be used, it is recommended to copy the text from the code view of an HTML editor and never directly from email or Microsoft Word.
